It is our desire to create an environment that is educational, professional, collaborative, and fosters creativity. We ask each member to be mindful of the following guidelines:
- Participation by all members is integral to the success of our program. Each member is expected to come to rehearsal prepared to participate in Family Circle and/or Nesting, offer input on ideas, and work with other members and Directors in a respectful and helpful manner.
- Members must come prepared by bringing their needed supplies (ie. scripts, binders, water, etc.)
- Members must respect the art of theatre/performance art by being supportive of their cast/crewmates, watching with attentiveness during rehearsals, and speaking positively about the process and success of others. They must take initiative and prioritize a strong work ethic.
- Members must be teachable - willing to take constructive criticism with enthusiasm while also being open about their needs and concerns. This is crucial when it comes to working in both an educational and professional environment.
- Once they arrive on site, members must remain in the building at all times and may not be in any outside area without permission and/or leadership supervision.
- Members are expected to read, understand, and agree to the ETD Code of Conduct which explains the dress code, behavior, and disciplinary process within the program.
- Members must be respectful of Directors and Production Team despite interpersonal relationships.

Our well-being advocate provides encouragement and support to members, as needed throughout the rehearsal process. If members are dealing with frustration, concern, overstimulation, or dysregulation they are always welcome to speak with the WBA to sort through their thoughts and emotions. The WBA will work to provide a listening ear as well as recommend and assist in
implementing coping skills.
If there is a point of conflict or tension between two company members, our well-being advocate can step in as a peacemaker - if additional mediation is needed, the director will be asked to step in and help resolve the issue.
